I have been a gymnast for five years and a cheerleader for one year. I
compete in both, but my back-tucks don't get very high off the ground.
I do a few exercises to strengthen them, but they are still low. Is there
any exercise that helps you?
(in a weight room)
running FAST up stairs
and plyometric springs will ALL build up your 'jumping' muscles.
With stronger jumping muscles you'll be able to spring higher into the
air and insure safer back flips
